How Can Judging Improve My Needlework?
Presented by Cindy Powell

As stitchers, we have high expectations for our projects. This class will provide an inside look at the ANG judging process. Armed with an overview of the training a certified judge has completed, students will experience first-hand what a judge looks at and why, and how each piece is judged independently. Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and share what they see in different pieces. In addition, several suggestions for improved stitching will be discussed since that is what Judges include in their critiques. Participants are asked to bring one or two finished, completed, but not framed, pieces, or even one that has them stumped. The pieces will be looked at closely and may receive praise and/or criticism. This class satisfies the requirements of entering the Judging Certification Program.
