Lone Star ANG Chapter Membership

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in needlepoint. You must be a member in good standing of the American Needlepoint Guild (ANG) to belong to any chapter. Beginners are welcome and are not required to demonstrate any level of stitching accomplishment to be eligible for membership. Annual national dues are $ 60 per year. Purchase or renew your national membership easily from the national web site. Dues include subscription to six bi-monthly issues of the national magazine, Needle Pointers, plus individual and group correspondence courses, national seminars, and various other opportunities.

Lone Star is a Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild and meets every month, January through November, in the day and evening to accommodate the schedules of our members. The monthly programs are the same for each meeting.

Day meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 10:00 am (9:30 am for snacks). Night meetings are held on the Wednesday night preceding the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.  You are welcome to come any time after 5:30 pm to stitch beforehand!

Chapter membership dues are $15 per year. Membership dues entitle you to receive the bi-monthly Chapter newsletter, attend monthly general meetings, and participate in programs, special events, and scheduled workshops. Workshops, special events, and some programs require the payment of separate fees.

We invite you to visit any meeting to see whether you would like to join. The only criteria for membership are a love of needlepoint and a desire to learn more about this popular art.

Annual national dues of $60 are payable directly to ANG.

Local dues of $15 (plus $24 if you wish your newsletter "snail mail") are payable to Lone Star ANG.
